The Crying Baby
Late at night, on a hot summer night, your phone rings. It's your boss, Dr. Susan Lydell.
"I'm at the Hospital," she tells you. "We have an urgent case here, a child, Isabella, nine months old. She's vomiting and has a high temperature. We’ve done some tests and it’s not like any disease we’ve seen before.
We’ve noticed some small scratches on her arm, but it could be nothing.
Something happened to her in the last one or two hours. Maybe she ate something.
"The mother and father are here, and they both seem fine. Whatever caused this disease, it affected only the baby. See if you can work it out!
