TASK - Write a method for the required practical

It is important the you know what to do with the data.  Some of the masses of potato will have gone up, some will have gone down. Why might this have happened.

The gain in mass will decrease as you increase the concentration of the sugar in the solution. 

If there is too much sugar in solution you will see that there is a loss in total mass. 

This experiment demonstrates the movement of water from the solution to the potato and vice versa, depending upon the amount of sugar in the solution.
