Power is the rate of energy transfer or work done.
Power is the energy transferred per second.
It is measured in Watts (W).
A powerful object is something which can transfer a lot of energy in a short space of time.
Read my example below and then try to write your own example of power.
"If 2 kettles both had to heat 1 litre of water, then the one that boils it first would be the most powerful."
