Get familiar with this timeline for IVF treatment. It shows the stages neede for IVF.
Speak to the doctor and have some tests.
Take FSH and LH hormone injections to stimulate the ovary to mature and release eggs.
Surgically remove the eggs.
Fertilise the harvested egg cells by injecting a sperm cell from the father directly into each of them and incubate to form an embryo.
Implant the embryos back into the mothers uterus and 'hope' that at least one egg cell implants successfully into the lining of the uterus.
